Lending Original Pictures

Registered and trusted friends of the Life Work of Gerhard Reisch may borrow original images for research and training purposes for a limited time by agreement. For every request the Gerhard Reisch Foundation is obliged to examine the respective background of a prospective loan in detail.

Responsibility for the loan of original pictures lies always with the person of the borrower. Loans are always documented. All costs incurred, such as packaging, transport, installation, will be invoiced to the borrower.

Fundamentally the loan of original pictures within European countries can be considered. However, the circumstances and conditions are without exception always evaluated individually. The pictures are held in light wooden frames without glass, i.e. surface protection. Also, because the images have no commercial value, any kind of personal liability or object insurance for the pictures is out of the question and, therefore, not relevant.

For these reasons, i. a., the person of the borrower, the physical security as well as the intended application of the images are all at the foreground of a lending decision. The Gerhard Reisch Foundation reserves the right to reject loan requests without explanation.
